Cambodia to welcome more Indonesian tourists to visit Cambodia during the Green Season to experience breathtaking beauty tourism and Muslim-friendly hospitality.
On the morning of May 31, 2025, H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, attends a working luncheon with H.E. Dr. Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Cambodia, and esteemed colleagues to discuss tourism promotion and strategies to attract Indonesian-Cambodian tourists during the beautiful breathtaking green season from May to October.
H.E. the Minister also highlights Cambodia’s tourism potential and the campaign to visit Cambodia during the beautiful green season, as well as the hospitality specially prepared for Muslim tourists, namely Muslim Friendly Tourism, which was launched by the Royal Government of Cambodia to make Cambodia a popular Muslim tourist destination. Through this important campaign and the launch of Muslim Friendly Tourism, the Ministry of Tourism has been given an important role by the government in assisting to coordinate work with all types of tourism operators on discounts on all tourism services and products, especially the hospitality including those for Muslim tourists, as well as with relevant authorities to facilitate comfortable, safe and secure tourism, which attracts more national and international tourists to visit Cambodia during the beautiful breathtaking green season when plants are blooming and green, accompanied by fresh nature, with the sprinkling of raindrops like a blessing from heaven, under a calm and serene ambiance, with cool air, helping to revitalize the mind, relieve all worries, and provide full physical and mental energy recovery.
