(Phnom Penh) On the afternoon of Saturday, 31 May 2025, at Factory Phnom Penh, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, presided over the closing ceremony of the “AWE BizFest,”.
This Event organized by the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia, attended by Excellencies, ladies, gentlemen, and leaders of relevant ministries and institutions the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia, the President of the Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association, and many other distinguished national and international guests.
At the outset, Her Excellency Minister expressed her delight and gratitude to the U.S. Embassy, Pannasastra University of Cambodia, and Impact Hub for their dedication and continued partnership in making this visionary initiative a reality.
Her Excellency Minister said that the “AWE BizFest” is an important program demonstrating the empower ment of women in business and innovation. Meanwhile, Her Excellency Minister expressed her excitement at having participated in the opening ceremony in September and again at witnessing the achievements of the 30 candidates’ nine-month efforts, especially the announcement of the three Pitch Competition winners.
On that occasion, Her Excellency Minister also mentioned the Ministry of Commerce’s Export Service Center, encouraging all entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs, needing support to contact the Ministry’s working group or its social media directly.
