“EU-Cambodia Business Partnership: Export Lab and Agri-Innovation Lab”Lunch

(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Monday, 2 June 2025, His Excellency SAMHENG Bora, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the official launch of the “EU-Cambodia Business Partnership: Export Lab and Agri-Innovation Lab” at the Oakwood Premier Hotel in Phnom Penh. The event was also honored by His Excellency Igor DREESMANN, Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Distinguished guests included representatives from relevant ministries and institutions, representatives from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Union, international organizations development partners, business associations, federations chambers of commerce and numerous private sector enterprises.

The EU-Cambodia Business Partnership program aims to deepen cooperation between Cambodia and the European Union, particularly in the fields of agriculture, agro-processing, and innovation.

The initiative seeks to enhance the export readiness and global competitiveness of Cambodian enterprises, with a focus on improving access to European and other international markets.
In his remarks, His Excellency Secretary of State mentioned that, as part of the launch, two flagship projects were introduced: the Export Lab and the Agri-Innovation Lab. These projects are designed to empower Cambodian businesses by strengthening product development, elevating export standards, and fostering market linkages with Europe, ASEAN, and beyond. Support services include technical assistance, skills training, advisory support, and access to market intelligence.
